We live in an age of technology and new media, especially when it comes time to tell our stories. Podcasting takes the oldest form of narrative — oral storytelling — and makes it accessible via the new media of mobile phones, internet, and smart TV. In this sense the podcast is, in several ways, the ultimate marriage of traditional and modern. For this reason, podcasts can be found on virtually any topic.
In this 180 minute workshop, a professional writer and producer takes students through the basics of putting together a killer podcast — choosing a subject, planning, writing, recording, editing, publishing — and, using our state-of-the-art “Pop-up Studio”, will help you produce a slick, professional product that is yours to keep and share.
