This engaging theatre in education program for high school students explores the causes and effects of bullying, harassment and aggression at school, online and at home. It gives practical strategies for conflict resolution and breaking the cycle of violence. It encourages impulse control, assertiveness, resilience and help-seeking.
Two energetic performers use school yard scenarios to encourage students to have empathy and understanding about the affects of aggression, intimidation and making homophobic, racist and misogynistic remarks.
It shows the legal consequences of cyber bullying, harassment, image based abuse, domestic violence and coercive control. It gives strategies for reporting and help seeking.
This award winning show shines a light on negative patterns of behaviours through inappropriate modeling from peers, family members, movies, media, YouTube, and video games. It examines the link between hormones, adrenaline, and the ‘fight flight’ response and channeling energy into positive pursuits.
